Day 1 : Mumbai - New Delhi - Leh

Meals: Complementary Light Vegetarian Lunch, Dinner


Board your flight early morning from Mumbai or Delhi to Leh. Arrive Kushok Bakula airport Leh - 3500m above sea level. On your arrival at Leh, an Holidaytrvel.Co representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Rest of the day is free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. 

Transfer to hotel. Breakfast at the hotel before 09.30 am. Half Day at rest for acclimatization is a Must. Lunch at the hotel.  Stay overnight at Hotel in Leh.


 

Day 2 : Sightseeing around Leh (80 Kms round trip)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
 

After breakfast at hotel, We take packed Lunch and drive to Sangam, Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river. Enroute visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. The Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers is in Ladakh, India at Nimu. From this point on, beyond this confluence of the two, the stream is regarded as the Indus River.

Today includes, Sightseeing of 1000 year old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to the Likir Monastrey to visit the splendid three storeys Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you'll be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues.,

Visiting Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Basgo Palace Hiking only..

Can anyone ever imagine the movement of a vehicle up a steep mountain with its engines off (Gravity Defy)? Reach Magnetic Hill to experience the nature which sounds unbelievable.

Just before reaching Leh visit Spituk Monastery (Kali Mata Temple) Ladakh Hall of fame,(which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia) Dinner and Over Night at the Hotel in Leh. 

Arrive at your hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 3 : Leh - Nubra Via Khardungla Pass (140 Kms 5hours approx)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley - Drive 140 Kms 4/5hrs After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by Afternoon. Rest of the day, Post lunch free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. 

 Nubra valley is Popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, you will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactarian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes, Deskit & Samstanling monasteries.

Arrive at Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (at your expense).

Later if time permits visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check in at Camp/Hotel.

The evening is at leisure. Stay overnight at the comfortable Swiss camps.


Day 4 : Nubra - Leh (140 Kms, 4hours approx)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Morning after Breakfast proceed for Leh, once again driving via Khardungla pass, the World Highest Motorable road.

In the evening explore Leh bazaar for souvenirs, visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque by foot.

Stay overnight in Leh at the hotel.

 

Day 5 : Leh Monastery tour and Leh Sight seeing

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Morning after breakfast drive to Thiksey Monastery. One of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, it belongs to the Gelukpa Order of Buddhism.

After visiting the Thiksey Monastery drive to Shey Palace, located 15km to the south of Leh on the Leh-Manali highway is the Shey Palace. The 3 storey palace is perched on a hillock overlooking the beautiful Shey village. Later visit Sindhu Ghaat.

The festival is also a symbolic salutation to the courageous soldiers of the country, who have endanger their life to save ours.

Arrive at Leh and you will be dropped at Leh Market / hotel for Lunch (on own). Post lunch you will leave for sightseeing to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

Return to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.



Day 6 : Excursion to Pangong Lake (280 Kms round trip)

Meals: Breakfast, Complementary Light Vegetarian Lunch & Dinner

Pongong lake ​It is the highest land locked lake (155 Kms on way from Leh 04 Hrs driver each way, We reach Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). It is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance.

Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.   

Morning after breakfast drive to to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border. Pangong Lake is situated in the northeast of Leh, 4,350 meters above sea level.

The long and narrow lake lies in the neighborhood of the famous Chushul Mountains.

The size of the lake is best inferred from the probable etymology of its name, Pangong, which means extensive concavity. The mirror-calm water is cold, clear, and extremely salty.

By the evening, come back to your hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight sleep.

 

Day 7 : Leh at leisure

Today is a day to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Leh town. You may want to walk down to the local bazaar to buy souvenirs that will remind you of your small but enthralling rendezvous with Ladakh. As an option, you may opt for the various additions mentioned.
