What happens in Kullu Dussehra Festival
Kullu Dussehra starts after prayers in Raghunath ji temple, and various hill deities are brought from all the temples in region to the kullu fair ground where they pay homage to Raghnathji, the Rama God. This is called as the Rathyatra, where the various Gods with processions and bands arrive and the Gaddi shepherds come down from their homes in the hills to sing, dance and praise the local gods and Lord Rama. It is the most spectacular site and most watched processions in the country among tourists

Kullu Dussehra: Enjoy the celebrations of Dussehra in Dhalpur Maidan. It was started by King Jagat Singh and is continued till date. It is dedicated to God Raghunath who is considered as the ruling deity of the valley. There is a large procession whereby people pull the Ratha carrying the idol of God by ropes. It is followed by colourful cultural festival which includes Kala Kender International Dance Festival. It is conducted in an open theatre. On the last day, the Ratha is carried back to its temple in Sultanpur but before that a pile of wood is set on fire as a symbol of ‘burning Lanka’.
The Hadimba Temple: It is a cave temple and is dedicated to Devi Hidimbi who has been part of the Mahabharata tale. It has the idol created from rock and the temple is surrounded with beautiful cedar forest.
The Vashisht Hot Sulphur Springs: They are at an altitude of 1982 m. These hot sulphur springs are renowned for their healing powers. There are separate tanks for men and women.
The Mountaineering Institute: It is known as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports. It is the largest adventure sports academy in the entire country.
Nehru Kund: It is a natural spring of clear cold water. It is located near the national highway that goes to Leh. It originates from Bhrigu lake. It named after Jawaharlal Nehru who apparently came to this spring to drink water, whenever he was in Manali.
Rohtangpass: It is at an altitude of 4000 m approximately and has extreme cold climate. It stands between Kullu valley and Lahaul. Kullu valley observes Hindu religion and Lahaul primarily has Buddhist culture. It is open from May to November.
Kothi Gorge: It is located at 16 kms from Manali. This town is famous for beautiful views of a deep gorge at the mouth of river Beas. It takes an hour of trek to reach it. One can enjoy views of thermal springs coming out of the mountains.
Gulaba: It is a village at 6 kms from Rohtangpass. When Rohtangpass is not accessible, tourists stop here to enjoy the ice sports. This village is snowy throughout the year.
Marhi: It is known as a shanty town of roadside restaurants. It is place where tourists stop en route to Rohtangpass for some delicious food.

Afternoon time is booked for your sight seeing which will include The Hadimba Temple, The Vashisht Hot Sulphur Springs, the Mountaineering Institute, Nehru Kund & The Mall.sightseeing. We end the day with delicious dinner. We stay overnight in Manali.
Day 04 - Rohtang Pass Tour
We begin the day with sumptuous breakfast and get onto our A/C bus. We dedicate this day to the tour’s highlight,’Rohtangpass’. On the way we check out Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi and Solang Valley.
Day 05 - Return Journey
We have a filling Indian breakfast and pack out bags for return journey. We start the journey in the evening so the day is free for you to explore the town on your own. You can do some shopping as well. If it is October, you can go for Kullu Dussehra celebrations. In the evening, we bid farewell to the passengers and hope to see them again. Passengers will travel from Manali to Kullu by road and will take flight to home from there.
