Kochi Family Tour: Itinerary

Day 01: Arrived at kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station

After arrival at Kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station and meet with our representative and they will meet you with warm welcome and transfer to hotel for freshen up and you may have lunch at same hotel later you will visit some famous site seeing of Kochi which includes Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Ernakulam Shiva Temple, in the evening you will come back to Kochi. Overnight stay with dinner at Kochi hotel

St. Francis Church, Kochi: St. Francis CSI Church is the landmark building, which was foundby the Portuguese. This edifice is built on the site, where the body of late explorer Vasco da Gama was originally buried.  It is kept open on week days for visitors and tourists.

Paradesi is a word used in several Indian languages, and the literal meaning of the term is "foreigners", applied to the synagogue because it was built by Sephardic or Spanish-speaking Jews, some of them from families exiled in Aleppo

Veegaland: The Veegaland Amusement Park is the most popular amusement park of Kerala mainly because it is India's first water theme park. It is situated in Pallikara of Ernakulam district and covers an area of 30 acres.  Veegaland offers both dry rides as well as water rides with the rides being subdivided into four sub categories. Santa Cruz Basilica: The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica at Fort Kochi is one of the eight Basilicas in India. Counted as one of the heritage edifices of Kerala, this church is one of the finest and most impressive churches in India and visited by tourists the whole year round The foundation stone of this church was laid on 3 May, 1505, during the feast of the ‘Invention of the Holy Cross’. Upon the completion, this church was given the name as Santa Cruz Cathedral.

Marine Drive: Marine Drive is a picturesque promenade in Kochi Marine Drive is a 1.75 km long beautiful promenade, which has been built facing the backwaters of Kochi. One of the most popular hangout areas for the locals as well as tourists in the city, Marine Drive is a walkway Tourists visit this place during evenings, to catch a glimpse of rising sun over the sea mouth.

Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium: Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium he stadium has a capacity of 60,000 spectators making it one of the largest stadiums in India  it the second largest stadium in India currently (though the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad and the Greater Noida Cricket Stadium are coming up with seating capacities of 100,000 each). The stadium was built in 1996 by the Government of Kerala with Greater Cochin Development Authority
