Kasauli Dagshai Shimla Tour: Itinerary

Day 01: Chandigarh-Dagshai (Arround 70 km/2-3 Hours)

Start the tour from Chandigarh and proceed for Dagshai. The name Dagshai was derived from ‘Dagh-e-Shahi’, meaning ‘mark of the ruler’, which was a permanent mark put with hot iron, on the forehead of prisoners during the Mughal era. It is arround 70 km and take 2-3 hours to reach and visit some sightseeing of Dagshai like Central Jail, Church and Cementary in Dagshai. In between visit have lunch and some rest at Hotel Divshikha. After that check into hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Central Jail: Central Jail is one of the Historical Attraction of Dagshai. It was established in 1849 to in carcreate the enemies. Now it is used for MES Godown by Military. They have Transformed this jail into Beautiful Museum making abode of Precious Antiques.

St. Patrick Church: British have established  Two churches foe Worship in Dagshai. Both Churches are still visited for Prayers and Mass on Sundays. St. Patrick church and St. Angelin church are the most Famous Attractions of Dagshai.

Day 02: Dagsahi - Kasauli(Arround 14 km/40 mintues)

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Kasauli. It is around 14 km and take 40 mintues. Visitsome local sightseeing of Kasauli like kasauli Brewary, Christ Church and Sunset Point. After that check into hotel, rest of the day is for your leisure and overnight stay at hotel.

Kasauli Brewary: It is estabished by Edwerd Dyer. Kasauli brewery is one of the oldest distillery for 'scotch whisky' in Asia. The company was Established as Dyer Breweries Limited and as the time passes it combined with Meakin Breweries Limited and  turns  into Dyer Meakin Breweries Ltd. Today, the company still runs under the name Mohan Meakin Limited.

Chirst church: The another famous place to visit in Kasauli is Chirst church. It is mostly visited due to its awesome neo-gothic architecture and the various stained glass windows which were imported from Britain. A very good architecture structure with a peace.

Day 03: Local Sightseeing of Kasauli

After breakfast visit some other sightseeing of Kasauli like Mall, Manki point, Krishan Bhavan Mandir. In between your visit have lunch and some rest at hotel Kasauli Inn. After visit came back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

The Mall: It refers to the Famous shopping point in kasauli,it is divided into Upper Mall and Lower Mall. The Mall is mostly attractive for Shopping. TheLower Mall Is famous for Tibetan Shops selling small handicrafts, woollens, hand woven shawls, stoles, and scarves.

Manki Point: This is one of the Highiest point in Kasauli and also known as a place where the Lord Hanuman Placed his foot when searching for the medicinal herbs for injured Lakshamana in Ramayana. This place offers you awesome view of whole valley. A Small temple is also situated on the top of the Hill which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

Day 04: Kasauli- Shimla ( Arround 70 km/ 3Hours)

After Breakfast you will visit some Local sightseeing  of Shimla like Mall road, The Ridge Jakhoo, Kalibari Temple(on your own as cabs are not allowed on mall road). Then stop for a while at the beautiful stained - glass - windows of Christ Church, which was built in the 1890 's. Afternoon visit Kufri at 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotic nature place surrounded by dense forest and snow capped mountains. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic spots or visit mall road,enjoy shopping. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Jakhoo Temple: One of The famous place of  Worship At Shimla is  Jakhoo Temple..Jakhoo hill is located the famous Jakhoo Temple of Shimla. It is hardly 2 kilometers from the Ridge and is an uphill climb through the beautiful deodar trees. The Jakhu Temple of Shimla is dedicated to the monkey God, Hanuman. The temple is located at the Height of 2455 meter and situated at highiest peak in Shimla.

Kalibari Temple: The another famous  place of worship is Kalibari Temple of Shimla. This  is a popular tourist attraction and is situated at a very strategic location. The temple was built in the year 1845 and is dedicated to Goddess Kali who is also known as Shyamala.Shimla derived its name Fom Goddess Shyamala. 

Kufri: Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 13 km from the state capital Shimla. The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning "lake" in the local language. Kufri has a Himalayan wild life zoo which hosts rare antelopes, felines and birds including the Himalayan monal, the state bird of Himachal Pradesh

Day 04: Food

Lunch: In Between your Visit you may have lunch at Eco village Dhabha ( Kufri).included Delicious and testy Punjabi Food.

Day 05: - Shimla – Delhi (Arround 360km/7-8 hrs)

Next Morning after breakfast check out From hotel and Proceed to Delhi. It is around 360 Km and takes 8 Hours to complete journey. In between your journey we will break Journey at Chandigarh. Have lunch and some rest there and proceed to delhi. Our Reprentative will drop you at Delhi Airport/Railway Station.

Day 05: Food

Lunch: In Between your Visit you may have lunch at Neelkanth Star Dhabha (NH 1, Karnal, Haryana).included Delicious and testy Punjabi Food.
