Trip itinerary for Jerusalem Bethlehem Pilgrimage Tour for Muslims
Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman
Fly from your Indian destination to Amman where upon arrival our representatives will Meet & assist you at Amman Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day will be free for leisure.
Day 2: Amman – Kahf Al-Raqim – Kerak – Tafilah – Petra
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Kahf Al-Raqim. A popular attraction outside of Amman is Kahf Al-Raqim or the Cave of the Seven Sleepers. Mentioned in the Holy Qur'an in a Sura named Al-Kahf (the Cave), it is located outside the village of Al-Raqim, 10 km east of Amman. Persecuted by despotic rule of Trajan for monotheism, a group of pious youths took refuge in this cave. To preserve them, Allah put them to sleep, and when they revived 300 years later (309 lunar years as inimitability mentioned in the Holy Qur'an), they thought that they were only asleep for a day or so. Christianity was widespread by then, and when they were discovered, Allah put them to rest forever. At the cave, there still stand Byzantine and Roman ruins as well as a mosque, which exactly fit the descriptions in the Holy Qur'an.

Continue to Kerak, in and around Kerak other shrines of significance to Islam are located. You can visit Prophet Nuh 'Noah' shrine in the city of Kerak. Allah sent Noah to his people to warn them of divine punishment if they continued to worship idols, the Prophet and King of Israel, Sulayman ‘Solomon’, has a shrine in Sarfah near Kerak. Prophet Solomon had great powers that included control over the winds, over the Jinnis and understanding the language of birds and other animals.
Tafilah is the much beloved venerable companion Jabir ibn Abdullah Al-Ansari has a shrine in Tafilah. He took part in nineteen military campaigns and was beside Prophet Mohammad during the conquest of Mecca.
Arrival to Petra where you’ll be staying overnight.
Day 3: Petra – Petra visit – Amman
After breakfast at the hotel full day sightseeing tour to Petra the Red Rose City will start.

After the trip ends you return to Amman and get transferred to a hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Amman – Amman City Tour – Mt. Nebo – King Hussein Bridge – Jerusalem
Breakfast at the hotel proceed for city tour of Amman. In addition to the main Islamic attractions in Amman: The Citadel, Grand Husseini Mosque, and King Abdullah Mosque, Amman suburbs has many noteworthy Islamic attractions. In Jubeha, a suburb of Amman, you can visit the tomb of the venerable companion Abdul-Rahman ibn Awf Al-Zuhri . Lined up stones mark the burial place of one of the 'Blessed Ten', to whom Prophet Mohammad promised paradise.

Transfer to Mt. Nebo that is considered one of the most revered sites in Jordan from where one can get a magnificent view of the Dead Seaand the land of Jerusalem are visible in the distance. On the summit of Mount Nebo, you stand where the Prophet Musa 'Moses' looked over the Jordan River towards Palestine. Mount Nebo also became his final resting place after leading his people from Egypt across the Sinai Desert towards the Promised Land. It is generally acknowledged that Prophet Moses was buried on Mount Nebo, although there is no actual tomb marking the spot.
Transfer to King Hussein Bridge where after completing to formalities at the Border you get to reach Jerusalem for dinner & O/N at Jerusalem hotel.
Day 5: Jerusalem – Bethlehem – Jerusalem

This city is considered the third most sacred city in Islam which was the original qibla (direction of prayer) before it was changed to Mecca. Jerusalem is revered because, in Muslim tradition, Muhammad miraculously traveled to Jerusalem by night and ascended from there into heaven. The two most important Muslim sites in Jerusalem are the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The most notable Muslim site in Jerusalem is the Dome of the Rock (Qubbat as-Sakhrah), which, like the Ka'ba, is built over a sacred stone. This stone is holy to Jews as well, who believe it to be the site at which Abraham prepared to sacrifice Isaac.The Al-Aqsa Mosque is part of the complex of religious buildings in Jerusalem known as either the Majed Mount or Al-Haram ash-Sharif (the Noble Sanctuary) to Muslims and the Temple Mount to Jews.Muslim tradition states that Muhammad ascended to heaven from the Mount in 621, making the mosque the third most holy shrine in Islam.

Proceed toBethlehem where In 638 AD Omar ibn Al-Khattab visited here as an envoy of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). He prayed where the Mosque that carries his name now stands. The existing Mosque was built in 1860 and was last renovated in 1954. The Mosque is a symbol of religious co-existence in Bethlehem.It was built on lands donated by the Greek Orthodox Church to the Muslims, and it is the only Muslim shrine of worship in the Old City of Bethlehem.
