Ninh Binh  is spreads  from the Northwest mountainous area, actually it is situated about 100 kilometers south of Hanoi capital and in the southernmost region of the Red River Delta. Ninh Binh land is also known as a half mountain half plain province . It is an amaizing place and is home to a fantastic diversity of flora and fauna with largest nature reserve in Vietnam. There are three main types of topography in Ninh Binh such as limestone mountains (Karst landscape) with breathtaking caves & grottoes; the delta formed by Red River Silt, and a coastline of 18 kilometers.

These beautiful landscapes carved out with water by idyllic rivers and the area is criss-crossed between the limestone outcrops. There are a number of locations where a sampan ride is possible - some of which are more developed and popular than others. Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, met & greeted by Asiana Travel Tour Guide. Transfer to hotel for checking in (Time of checking in is at 14h00). Overnight in Hanoi.

Transfer to Ninh Binh (approximate 2 hours). You will chose 1 of 2 options before embarking on a small, hand rowed sampan for beginning your journey along green waterways.

1st Option: You will pass under a sequence of Tam Coc (three caves) - Hang Ca, Hang Giua and Hang Coi - as your boat glides past green rice fields and lotus ponds.

2nd Option: Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was officially recognized by UNESCO as a mixed natural and cultural heritage of the world on June 25, 2014.

Then visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Back to Hanoi for shopping at Trang Tien Plaza or Old Quarter or Dong Xuan Market or Royal City or Vincom. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi Old Quarter: At the beginning of the 20th century the city consisted of only about 36 streets, most of which are now part of the old quarter. Each street then had merchants and households specialised in a particular trade, such as silk traders, jewellery, etc.

Tam Coc (Three Caves): known as "Ha Long Bay on the rice paddies".  This area is famous for its breathtaking scenery, where dramatic limestone formations rise sharply out of green rice paddies and wetlands.

Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex: is a scenic area near Ninh Bình, Vietnam renowned for its boat cave tours. On 23 June 2014, at the 38th session of the World Heritage Committee in Doha, the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital: the stone-walled royal citadel which used to be the economic, political and cultural center of Dai Co Viet (Great Viet) – the first centralized feudal state in Vietnam which existed from 968 to 1010 C.E.). It is also the native land of 3 royal dynasties: the Dinh, and the earlier Le and Ly dynastys.  In the past, Hoa Lu Royal Capital was adorned with splendid palaces, magnificent temples and shrines. When King Ly Cong Uan transferred the capital to Thang Long (now known as Hanoi), it became the ancient capital.

Vietnam Visa upon Arrival

  • Passport details (Full name as appeared in your passport, date of birth, passport number, issued date, expried date) and arrival and departure dates for each individual are sent by e-mail or fax to Holiday Travel India no later than 4 working days prior to departure date to Vietnam.

  • The Immigration Department notifies Holiday Travel India of the visa approval and return to Holiday Travel India.

  • Holiday Travel India sends a faxed copy of the approval to the agent or directly to the individual concerned.

  • Group or individual show this copy to the immigration officer/airlines counter at intermediate airport for check-in flight to any destination in Vietnam.

  • Upon arrival the group or individual will need to go to "LANDING VISA" counter where their visa will be processed. They need to fill in a form (02 passport sized photos required) and get the visa stamped by Immigration Officer. The visa stamping fee ($US 25 per person) is paid directly to Immigration Officer by you.
