Day 01: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park (193km/3.5 Hours)
After arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station and proceed to Kaziranga National Park which is famous home of one horned rhino in Assam. Upon arrival checkin to hotel and have lunch at same hotel, rest of the day free at your leisure. By the evening you will visit local sightseeing which includes Karbi Ethnic village and local model village. By the evening come back to resort and overnight stay with dinner at Kaziranga Nation Park

Day 02: Wildlife Safari at Kaziranga National park
Early in the morning you will visit for elephant safari which starts from 05:30 am - 06:30 am or a second shift start from 6.30 am-7.30 am depends on you, and enjoys an outing to the Western range of the park. After elephant safari you will come back to resorts and have breakfast, rest some hours at your leisure. After lunch get ready to explore jeep safari at central range which starts from 01:30 pm – 03:30 pm. After exploring Jungle jeep safari you will return back to hotel and overnight stay with dinner at Kaziranga Resort

Day 03: Full day explore Kaziranga National Park
Early in the morning you will visit elephant safari at eastern range, The main attraction of it is one-horned Rhinoceros with wild Buffalo, Tiger, Elephant, variety of Deer, Python and variety of migratory birds, water birds, predators, scavengers and game birds. After safari we will return back to resort for breakfast and refreshment. In the afternoon we will leave for 2 Jeep safaris in Burapahar range and Agaratoli range. After safaris return back to hotel and overnight stay with dinner at Kaziranga National Park

Zones in Kaziranga National Park
There are 4 Zones in Kaziranga National Park which includes Central Range or Kaziranga Range, Western Range or Bagori, Eastern Range or Agaratoli, Burapahar Range.
Central Range or Kaziranga Range: Central Range or Kaziranga Range is situated at a distance of 28 km Safari rides passes through the Dagland and Foliomari area. The designated safari routes for central range is (Mihimukh - Kathpora -Daphlang - Diffolu River Bank -Mona Beel - Karasing & back)
Western Range or Bagori: Western Range or Bagori is 28 km away , usually guests prefer to take safari in the western zone where they will have chance to get close view of the one-horned rhinos. The designated safari routes: (Ongabeel -Rouman - Rajapukhuri -Monabeel & back)
Eastern Range or Agaratoli: Maximum one hour time slot is allotted for one safari trip. This range is considered perfect for viewing water birds such as Bengal Florican, White-eyed Pochard and fish eagle. It is 22 km away the elephant safari routes is: (Agratoli Sohola beel - Rongamotia -Maklung - Turturoni - Dhoba & back)
Burapahar Range: The starting point of this last zone is near Rhinoland Park. Tourists can enjoy safari rides maximum for one hour in a shift. Approx 17 Kms path is dedicated and passes through the Horakati - Potahibeel - Diffalu - Tunikati and back with designated stop at Tunikati Tower
Before making entry to the park tourists are required to obtain tickets for the safari one day before from the Kohora range on payment of requisite fee.

Kaziranga National Park Assam
The Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water. Kaziranga has been the theme of several books, songs, and documentaries. The park celebrated its centennial in 2005 after its establishment in 1905 as a reserve forest.

By Flight: If you want to reach by Flight then you have to reach Guwahati, then take a taxi or cab to reach Kaziranga national park which is 193 km away from Guwahati. Guwahati airport is connects with all major lines.
By Bus: Kohora is the main tourist hub for Kaziranga. Its on the National Highway 37 (NH 37) which is linked to Guwahati on the west and Jorhat on the east. From Guwahati, it can directly be reached by road (NH 37).
By Train: Furkating is considered as the nearest railhead which is well connected to the Guwahati. which is well connected to the rest of India. From Guwahati, one can, then, go by road to Kohora. There are also trains to Jorhat from Guwahati/ Dibrugarh. One can alight at Jorhat and drive by road to Kohora. The major other railway stations is a well-laid network of rails.

History of kaziranga national park
A World Heritage site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned Rhinoceroses. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006.
The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer. Kaziranga is also recognized as an important bird area by Birdlife International for conversation of avifaunal species. Compared to other protected areas in India, Kaziranga has achieved notable success in wildlife conservation. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility. Finally Kaziranga was declared as reserved forest on January 3rd1908 and was officially closed for shooting. In 1926 Kaziranga was declared a Forest Reserve and hunting was banned. In 1974 it was declared a National Park.

The Great one horned rhino is commonly found in Nepal, Bhutan and in Assam, India. It is confined to the tall grasslands and forests in the foothills of the Himalayas. The Indian Rhinoceros can run at speeds of up to 25 mph (40 km/h) for short periods of time and is also an excellent swimmer. An increase in rhino poaching in the northern region of Assam has been witnessed. There was a period, when poaching activities rose in the state affecting many wildlife species particularly one-horned rhinos.
