Dera Baba Rudru temple was established by Baba Rudranand in the Nari Village, on the main Una-Amb road near Una Himachal. The saint was considered to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva, who also established an Aakhand Dhoona in 1850. This akhand dhoona has been continuously burning since more than 150 years the time it was lit at this site.
At Baba Rudru, in the Garden outside the complex, There is 5 peeple trees, Where you have the 5 main Rishis rebirthed to 5 peeple trees together. It goes a saying in this area that if a snake bit person takes 7 parikrams of the group of these trees, he survives.

About Sri Sri 1008 Baba Rudru ji
It was in the year 1850 A.D. when Shri Shri 1008 Baba Rudra Nand Ji Maharaj (popularly known as Baba Rudru) dig his Chimta under the open sky and started praying and performing the hawan at this place. Sitting in 'Padmasan' regularly at this place under the open sky in a 'langot', Today the same place has become so popular in the times to come.
The 'vibhuti' of Akhand Dhuna is of a miraculous nature. People around and situated even abroad India in different parts of the world believe in the power of this vibhuti. People visit the ashram from near and far off regularly to worship, have darshan of Akhand Dhoona and get this vibhuti.
