Day 01: Bangalore - Coorg ( 240 km / 5 hours)
Board flight if you coming from Indore / Mumbai / Delhi or any other location and reach Bangalore. Pickup from Bangalore airport / railway st. & drive to Coorg. En-route visit Bylakuppe Tibetan Settlement (Golden Temple), the largest Tibetan settlement in India located near Kushalanagar in Kodagu District. The settlement was established in 1960 and till date holds several monasteries and temples of all major Vajrayana (Indo-Tibetan Buddhist) lineages. On arrival at Coorg, check-in at a hotel. Rest of the day is free for enjoying your own activity. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Coorg sightseeing
After breakfast full day city tour of Coorg, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of the River Kaveri where bathing and feeding of the elephants are done. Dubare elephant camp in Coorg is the perfect destination to enjoy Elephant rides and bird watching. In afternoon visit to Talacauveri, which is situated in the picturesque location of Brahmagiri hills. It is the origin of River Kaveri and a beautiful Talacauvery Temple built around it. Later, climb Brahmagiri peak and then pay a visit to Bhagamandala. Bhagamandala is famous for the confluence of the three sacred rivers, Kaveri, Sujyothi and Kanike. You can also visit to the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva) and get the blessings. Return to the hotel by evening for overnight stay.
Day 03: Coorg – Ooty ( 235 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast proceed to Ooty. The beautiful Ooty is in deep within the Nilgiri hills, also known as The Blue Mountains. On arrival at Ooty, check into a hotel and for the rest of the day you are free for leisure. Overnight stay atthe hotel.
Day 04: Ooty sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Ooty. Visit the Botanical Gardens, one of the best tourist attractions, which allures visitors from all over the world. This garden was laid out in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale and is spread over 22 hectares ascending the slopes on the hill at an elevation of 2,400 meters above sea level. Later visit Doddabetta (highest point of the place),Ooty Lake and Rose Garden.
Located in the heart of Ooty, Rose Park is not even a km from Charing Cross at Vijayanagaram. It has been laid on 10 acres of land in terraces with rose tunnels, pergolas and bowers with rose creepers.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Coonoor sightseeing
After breakfast Proceed to Coonoor which is 20km from Ooty and explore Sims Park, Lam’s Rock, Dolphin Nose and Tea factory and Doddabetta Peak. Later return to hotel and Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 06: Ooty - Bangalore ( 275 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast checkout and proceed to Bangalore to board your train or flight.
Best time to visit Ooty and Coonoor
Both Ooty and Coorg are cooler, misty and a bit wet and messy during the monsoon season. Ooty seems to be a bit more cooler during the winter months than Coorg...You can visit Ooty & Coorg throughout the year but best time is to visit between May & September at this time temperature does not rise beyond 20 degree Celsius

By Air: Mysore is the nearest domestic airport, which is 140kms and next is Mangalore which is 150kms. Bangalore Airport is 300kms.
By Rail: Mysore railway station is the nearest one which is 130kms and next is Mangalore which is 140kms. Both Mysore and Mangalore have convenient train connection to rest of the cities.
By Road: Madikeri is connected by road to all major cities in India.

By Air: The nearest airport is Coimbatore International Airport, a distance of about 60 miles (96 km) & Bangalore airport is around 300kms from Ooty.
By Rail: The railway station for Ooty is Udhagamandalam Railway Station. Mettupalayam provides the interchange between 'The Nilgiri Passenger' NMR metre gauge service and the Nilgiri Express broad gauge service. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway(NMR) is one of the oldest mountain railways in India. The NMR was declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in July 2005.
By Road: Ooty is well connected by good roads. It is 535 km from Chennai (via Salem, Erode, Coimbatore), 80 km from Coimbatore, 18 km from Coonoor, 155 km from Mysore (via Gudalur), 187 km from Calicut, 290 km from Bangalore(via Mysore), 281 km from Kochi (via Coimbatore and Palakkad), 236 km from Kodaikanal (via Coimbatore and Palani).
