Day 01: Arrived at city airport Khajuraho

Arrival at city airport Khajuraho and meet with our representative and they will transfer you to hotel. Parsvanath Temple: Parsvanath temple of Khajuraho is the biggest Jain temple Parsvanath temple is an incredibly beautiful temple located in the Madhya Pradesh of India.Parsvanath which is dedicated to Jain Tirthankara Parshvanatha, it contains some of the most excellent sculptures of Khajuraho e.g. figures of Lakshmi- Narain, Balram-Reoti, eight Dikpalas  Indra, Agni, Yama, Nirriti, Varuna, Vayu, Kuber and Isan, Ambika, Kamdev-Rati, Ram-Sita along with Hanuman. These temples are unique examples of religious harmony and spirit of accommodation. Atishay (Miracle), The Shantinath Temple is famous for its 14 feet high standing idol, the 16th jain tirthankara.

Adinath Temple:  Adinath temple located on the right of the parsvanath, is a beautiful - though small shrine. It is noted for its simple but well-ornamented 'Shikhar' and the three bands of sculptures on its semi-circular outer wall containing figures of Gandharvas and Kinnars (celestial musicians) and Vidyadharas, Adinath Temple is dedicated to the Jain saint an important part of the Eastern Group of Khajuraho Temples, is a significant example of the Jain settlement in Khajuraho.

Shantinath Temple: Shantinath Temple is a prominent structure in the Eastern Group of Khajuraho Temples This temple is basically a combination of several small sections and shrines. The main section features a 3.7 metres (12 feet) high statue of Lord Shantinath – the sixteenth Jain Tirthankara (Avasarpini).Inside the temple, there is a big Yard and parikrama path (verenda with number of Tirthankaras' idols. At the entrance, there is a gallary of photos related to Jain religion.

Raneh Fall: Raneh Falls is less than an hours' drive from Khajuraho is a must visit during a trip to Khajuraho temples. It is about 20 kms from Khajuraho.

This beautiful water fall is situated on the Ken River, and comes in under Chhatarpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This is about 30 meters deep canyon formed with pure crystalline granite in different colors like pink, green, misty white, and red to grey. Apart from a few large and small falls which are formed at the assemblage, some of the seasonal falls also appear during monsoons.

Day 02: Khajuraho to Orchha (172.5 km/4hrs)

After breakfast you will proceed for Orchha which is 172.5 km far from Khajuraho. After reach you will visit famous temples of Orchha which includes Ram Raja Mandir and after having a lunch in a nearest restaurant then you will visit  Laxminarayan Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple. Ram Raja Mandir: Ram Raja Mandir a palace-turned-temple has a charming legend attached to it. The famous Chaturbhuj mandir It is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage and receives devotees in large numbers regularly and is also commonly known as Orchha Temple.the only temple where Rama is worshiped as a king. Built as a palace for Madhukar Shah’s wife this temple was still getting its finishing touches, and the Queen placed the deity in her kitchen and took great care of him.

Laxminarayan Temple: The Lakshminarayan temple, is one of the three most famous temples in Orchha is an interesting tourist attraction of the place. It displays a perfect and unique mix of temple and fort architecture.the temple is dedicated the Goddess Lakshmi, there is no idol of the Goddess kept inside the temple.Laxmi Narayan Temple in Orchha exhibits a unique style of architecture The walls of this charming shrine are elaborately decorated with fabulous mural paintings, which show pulsating compositions from mythological themes. Day 03: Orchha to Datia (48.7 km/1hour 30min)

After breakfast you will proceed for Datia and visit the famous temple which are Pitambara Peeth and Sonagiri Jain Temple. After having a lunch Later back to hotel. Overnight stay in Datia

Pitambara Peeth:  Shri Pitambara Peetha is a complex of Hindu temples it is located in the city of Datia, in the Madhya Pradesh state of the central India. Pitambara Peetha is one of the most famous and powerful Shakti Peetha of Ma Baglamukhi which was established by Bramhaleen Pujyapaad RashtraGuru Anant Shree Swami Ji Maharaj in 1920s.

Sonagiri Jain Temple:  Sonagiri jain temple sacred place is popular among devotees & ascetic saints to practice for self discipline, austerity and to attain Nirvana the time of Bhagwan Chandraprabhu (The 8th Teerthankar), five and a half of ascetic saints have achieved salvation from here Sonagiri which literally means, "the golden peak" is a place sacred to Digambar Jains. This is the unique place known as Laghu Sammed Shikhar covering the area of 132 acres of two hills. This temple has attractive artistic spire. In this temple the principal deity is Lord Chandraprabhu, eleven feet in height. Two other beautiful idols of Lord SheetalNath and Parsvnath are installed.

                

Day 04: Datia to bundelkhand (210 km /4.21 hours.)

After breakfast you will proceed for Bundelkhand, after reach bundelkhand and later you will visit the famous jain temple in Jhansi which includes Kargaun Jain Temple, Kargaun Jain Temple is an underground temple dedicated to Bhagwan Parshwanath. Kargaun is situated at a distance of 5 km from Jhansi. Overnight stay in Jhasi

Day 05: Bundelkhand to Jhansi (190 KM)

How to reach Khajuraho

By Air:  Khajuraho is having a domestic airport known as City Airport Khajuraho. It is located at 2 Km south of Khajuraho town. At present (as on 05/05/2010) flights from Delhi & Varanasi are operating for Khajuraho. Arrival/Departure are usually take place in afternoon for these two destinations. Work is going on to enhance the capabilities of Khajuraho Airpot.

By Car:  Khajuraho city is very well connected by Jhansi, Orchha, Satna, Katni, Bandhavgarh, Chattarpur etc. Usually tourists arrive at Jhansi Railway Station by train and take taxi car to travel to Khajuraho, via Orchha or directly. From Jhansi.

By Train: Most important railway station for Khajuraho is Khajuraho Railway Station which is just 5km from Khajuraho Town. There is direct train for Khajuraho Railway Station (UP Sampark Kranti Express) for Khajuraho. It is the only train, at present from New Delhi to Khajuraho.
