Best time to visit – Besttime to visit is the cherry blossom season that runs usually from the last week in March to the first week of April in Tokyo and Kyoto. The Golden Week (end April-early May) Obon (mid August) and Christmas/New year attract a lot of tourists but is the costliest time to travel in Japan. Also September is best avoided as it is generally the Typhoon season.

An overview – The trip starts from Tokyo (35.6895° N, 139.6917° E) and will take you to Kyoto (35.0117° N, 135.7683° E) and Mt. Fuji (35.3580° N, 138.7310° E) to Hiroshima . Tokyo is the capital of Japan and the official language spoken here is Japanese. Japan is a stratovolcanic archipelago of 6,852 islands. The four largest islands are Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku, which together comprise about ninety-seven percent of Japan's land area.

How to reach Tokyo

From India

Japan is well connected to different cities across the globe via air. All the major airlines operate flights to the major airports of the country that makes reaching Japan very easy. Several flights are available from Delhi and Mumbai to the Capital city of Japan, Tokyo.

From Dubai

Package itinerary for Best of Japan Tour

Day 1: Arrive Tokyo (B/L/D)

Arrival Narita International Airport and transfer to Tokyo City Hotel. Day will be free for leisure and visiting Tokyo on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Tokyo Sightseeing (B/L/D)

After breakfast our English speaking guide will take you for the city tour of Tokyo. Visit Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple, and Nakamise Shopping Arcade, Drive through Ueno. Rest of the day will be free at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Tokyo-Mt.Fuji-Hakone (B/L/D)

After breakfast our English speaking guide will take you and transfer to Fuji Visitor Center, Mt.Fuji 5th Station. Lunch at Mt. Fuji followed by transfer to Kojiri Ship to Lake Ashi Cruise, Hakone-en ropeway, Mt.Komagatake ropeway. Return to Tokyo for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Tokyo - Nikko (B/L/D)

A full day excursion to Nikko by coach starts with the visit to the Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Irohazaka Road . From here visit Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Falls take Irohazaka Road down. Later you’ll be taken back to Tokyo for Overnight stay.

Day 5 – Tokyo – Kyoto (B/L/D)

In the morning check out from the hotel after breakfast and travel to Kyoto by Later proceed to Nara and visit the Todaiji Temple with its massive Great Buddha Statue, colorful Kasuga Taisha Shrine with its 3,000 lanterns, and Nara Park (Deer Park).  Overnight stay and dinner in Kyoto.

Day 6: Kyoto Sightseeing (B/L/D)

In the morning proceed for Kyoto sightseeing after breakfast and visit Nijo Castle, noted for its gorgeous interiors, Kinkakuji Temple with its Golden Pavilion, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (Kyoto Gosho). After lunch, visit Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 images of Buddha, and Kiyomizu Temple with its wooden veranda. Overnight in Kyoto.

Day 7: Kyoto – Hiroshima (B/L/D)

In the after breakfast travel to Hiroshima by Shinkansen where you visit Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine (by ferry), Peace Memorial Park, the A-Bomb Dome, and Peace Memorial Museum. Return to Kyoto by Shinkansen. Overnight in Kyoto

Day 8: Kyoto / Tokyo (B/L/D)

Day is free in the morning for leisure and shopping. Check out from the hotel later and you will be transferred to Kyoto Station to board a Bullet Train to Tokyo. After arriving at Tokyo Station, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Tokyo. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 9: Depart Tokyo
