Bangkok Pattaya Package from Dubai with Kanchanburi Nature Tour - Package Overview
Package Covers Bangkok, Pattaya and Kanchanburi wild life resorts from Dubai
Kanchanaburi is the third largest province of Thailand with approximately 735,000 residents. The province is well known for its abundant and luscious natural wonders, diverse wildlife and great historical relevance during the reign of King Rama I. By having a 2-day tour in Kanchanaburi, you can learn more about why it has always played a pivotal role in the overall development of Thailand.
Bangkok City Tour
First leg of the tour begins with your arrival in Bangkok airport. One of our representatives will meet you there and then transfer you to Kanchanaburi, which is approximately 130km from Bangkok. First stop is to pay abeyance to the lost souls of the World War II. The cemetery is called the Kanchanaburi Allied War cemetery, also known as Don Rak. These lost souls were mainly laborers, though, that were hired by the Japanese soldiers to build infrastructure like a railway station and a bridge. Your tour guide will give you a thorough background on the historic past of the cemetery and the Death Railway.
After visiting the cemetery, the guests will be taken to a lunch out in a decent restaurant. Come afternoon time, you must be ready to take a boat trip on Kwai River to get to the Kwai River Bridge. This is one of the fastest ways to get on board at the Kwai station and enjoy the panoramic views while the train is running. Tour guide will explain how the train station was built forcibly by the laborers as per command of the Japanese imperialists.
Return to hotel and then prepare for another round of sight-seeing. You have an option to spend the day at leisure. You may visit the Tiger Temple which is famous for its monks who have been living with domesticated tigers for years.

About Kanchanaburi
Kanchanaburi offers simple but unique pleasures in the form of quaint natural attraction, mighty river cruise, emphatic historical sites and amazing waterfalls. Kanchanaburi was first established by King Rama I and was called Mauang Kan. The province’s primary use was to serve as a barrier against the Mongol and the Burmese who were trying to invade the Northern region of Siam. Apparently, Kanchanaburi was efficient during that time, but then the Japanese imperialism happened in mid-20th century.
The Infamous Death Railway
When a Thai thinks of Kanchanaburi, he or she might have the death railway in mind for it is iconic for all the bad reasons. During the 1940’s, the Japanese empire had invaded the Malay Peninsula. One of the results is the construction of Death Railway that would connect Thailand and Burma for transportation purposes.
What good is a 77km-railway when thousands have died to build it? Thousands of laborers have died because they were forced to work under unfavorable conditions. In fact, some of those who fell into the river were not rescued and some were buried alive when some blocks have collapsed due to poor construction.
Present Kanchanaburi
Today, Kanchaburi tries to revive and develop its tourism sector to provide visitors better services and satisfaction to their travel experience. The local authorities have been focusing on building good infrastructure to entice potential investors into the province.
Kanchanaburi now has given us more and more destinations like following places:
- Wat Tham Khao Noi – Chinese pagoda built in 1883
- Wat Tham Sua – Tiger Cave temple located on top of a hill. The Buddha statue faces Mae Klong Dam
- Sai Yok National Park – This Park is situated right after the end-line of the railway station. It is where the crystal clear Nam Tok waterfall can be found.
- Cave hopping; Kaew Cave, Lawa Cave, Hellfire Pass, Daowadueng Cave
- Prasat Muang Singh Historical Park – Reminiscent of the ancient Khmer ruins but is actually a mausoleum.
Nightlife
Almost all restaurants, bars and clubs are found in River Kwai Road.
- Friend’s Bar & Restaurant
- Rascals
- Red Kangaroo
- Rainy Bar
- Chukradon Floating Restaurant
- Jolly Frog

Bangkok Pattaya Kanchanburi Tour from Dubai UAE- Package Itinerary
