Day 1: Arrival at Leh, Check-in Hotel and Half Day Sightseeing of Leh

Guests at received at Leh Airport and take to the hotel for checkin.Do take proper rest and get accustom to the mountain weather and climate. Day2: Adventurous River Rafting with visit to Magnetic Hill and War Memorial

Guests are taken to Kharu (45 km from Leh) Or Sapol for the River Rafting. For the beginners, www.holidaytravel.co recommends Kharu-Spituk route with calm waters. The beginners can also opt for Phey-Saspol route as it is short and marked by breathtaking views. The more experienced rafters should take challenging Sapol-Khalstey route marked with kilometers long rapids. Reserve the latter part of the day for a visit to Magnetic Hill. Have a buffet dinner at the hotel.

Khardung La Pass is situated 39 km by road from Leh and is located at the elevation of (aprrox 18,379 ft) Known to be one of the prominent highest motorable pass along with Suge La of Lhasa, and Semo La of Tibet,it serves as the gateway to Nubra Valley.So,choose to pause yourself at the beautiful top of the Pass and take the memories from your camera. It is interesting to note that pass was built in 1973 post the Indo –Pak war to solve the problem of sending essential supplies to small population of Turtok sector residing by Shyok River. Day 4: Departure from Leh

Places of Interests in Leh

Khardungla Pass

At the height of 18379ft, this is claims to be highest motorable Pass. Originally built for sending supplies thru Siachin glacier it now serves as the destination for cycle and motorbike expeditions. About 39km from Leh the Pass is the connection between Leh and Nubra valley.

Leh Palace

It is situated Namgyal Hill and was the adobe of Royals of the Leh. An example of Tibetan Architecture, it now houses a museum. Open to tourists it showcases the Tibetan arts and the Jewels. Almost in ruins it is preserved as the part of Ladakh Heritage and now serves as the office of Archaeological Survey of India. The entrance fee is approximately Rs 15 for Indian nationals and Rs 100 for foreign tourists.

Magnetic Hill
