Kedarnath Temple

Vishwanath Temple
It is one of the main temples of Guptkashi. The temple, built in an enclosed courtyard, is dedicated to Lord Shiva, named as Vishwanath, "Lord of the Universe". The architecture of Vishwanath temple is very typical of this region. The main sanctuary has a high tower with stone construction. There is also a wooden frame on top of the tower. On both sides of entrance, there are two entrance guards called as Dwarpalakas. One can also see Lord Shiva in the Bhairava image at the top of the entrance door.
