Kedarnath Temple 
A temple believed to be constructed by Sankaracharya, Kedarnath temple at the Garhwal region of Himalayas gains great religious significance. This might be one among the unique temples that demands a tiring trek to have a darshan of the deity. Winter in this region is so severe that the temple remains closed during those months. It is one of the twelve Jyothirlingas and is closely associated with Pandavas. It is believed that the Pandavas sought redemption from lord Shiva after the Kurukshethra war against their kith and kin. Reluctant to give pardon, Lord Shiva made himself hidden here in Kedarnath in shape of a bull. The original temple built by the Pandava brothers was a stony edifice and the present temple that has undergone many renovations encompass a hall that has the images of the Pandava brothers,

Vishwanath Temple 
It is one of the main temples of Guptkashi. The temple, built in an enclosed courtyard, is dedicated to Lord Shiva, named as Vishwanath, "Lord of the Universe". The architecture of Vishwanath temple is very typical of this region. The main sanctuary has a high tower with stone construction. There is also a wooden frame on top of the tower. On both sides of entrance, there are two entrance guards called as Dwarpalakas. One can also see Lord Shiva in the Bhairava image at the top of the entrance door.

Kalimath Temple 
kalimath temple is one of the most famous temple with cultural and traditional importance in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. it is the only sidh peeth in kedarnath valley, situated in an altitude of 6000 ft in the bank of holy Saraswati river. this temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali mata.
