About Ivy Suites

Hotel Ivy Suites is situated atop the heart of historic former princely state of Bhopal and it’s majestic sprawling Upper Lake. Perched high like an eagles nest in Shamla Hills, Ivy Suites offers the most breathtaking views of Lakeside nature, Sailing Club, Minarets crowning some of India’s most famous mosques and Palaces and forts of Bhopal’s Queens of past. Ivy Suites comes with it’s own eclectic beginnings. Originally the home of Manju and Pramod Sharma, who artistically converted it into a personal boutique hotel, primarily to provide accommodation for jet setters and business associates coming to Bhopal on various projects. Our Hotel’s name originated from our guests compliments of the abundant evergreen ivy creeper on east side. Everything comes together in the evenings as guests and friends alike gather after sunset and toast above the magical shimmering reflections of lights over Upper Lake.

Most Suites are lake facing including Two Penthouse suites replete with observation terraces, Two Extra Large Suites with Balconies, Five Large Suites and Two Regular Suites.Individualistic, unusual and distinctive, Hotel Ivy Suites offers an atmosphere of chic warmth and visionary design. The fewer number of rooms gives the hotel the feel of an idyllic private world. It offers you an amazing experience in each of its 12 rooms, including 8 suites. No two suites look alike, simply because no two individuals share the same preferences. All the suites are tastefully done, detailed in their décor, be it the spell bounding paintings or the eclectic upholstery. An epitome of warm hospitality, our efficient and polite staff make you feel at home, making your stay at the hotel a memorable one.

We understand what domestic luxuries can do for the well heeled traveler and have outfitted every suite with the necessities required for a most pleasant rest and relaxation.  Each suite is carefully outfitted with state of art soundless Air Conditioning, large televisions featuring 80 digital quality channels, a simple functioning office outfitted with broadband wireless Internet, desk and water boiler for making tea and coffee.  For your convenience, all suites have large attached bathrooms.  Premium Suites are additionally equipped with a personal refrigerator and larger wardrobes.

Buffet Breakfasts open the day with Lunch and Dinner being a carefully appointed blend of traditional vegetarian/non-vegetarian Indian, Mughlai and Continental. Ivy Suites offers the traditional Indian hospitality with modern comforts, where guests immediately feel like family.
