Day 01 : Arrive Patiala
You will pickup from Patiala railway st. and transfer to hotel. After freshen up and get ready you will proceed for local pilgrimage places of patiala which includes kali devi mandir, which is ancient and most famous temple in patiala and after that you will visit a very famous gurudwara dukh niwaran. Day 02 : Patiala - Nabha (28 km / 1 hour)
You will start your day with tasty punjabi breakfast and proceed to see Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Bahadurgarh which is located 9 km from main patiala city then visit Gurudwara Sri Moti Baag Sahib. After lunch you will proceed for gurudwaras of Nabha city which is located 28 km from Patiala. Later you will visit Gurdwara Baoli Sahib, Bauran Kalan, Gurdwara Dera Baba Ajaipal ji, Gurdwara Siropao Sahib, Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Rohtas and Gurdwara Akalgarh Sahib. Gurudwara Sri Moti Baag Sahib, Patiala: Gurudwara Sri Moti Baag Sahib is situated in the Patiala city. When Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji started his journey towards Delhi, he came here via Kiratpur Sahib, bharatgarh Sahib, roap makar, kabulpur etc. Saint saif ali khan was great follower of Guru Sahib, to fullfill his wish Guru Sahib came to his place saifabad (Bahadur garh). Guru Sahib stayed here for 3 months. Saif ali khan served Guru Sahib with great Devotion. In day time Guru Sahib used to meditate on the place inside the qila(fort) and used to come here in the night time. From here Guru Sahib left towards samana, Guru Sahib took rest for some time this place.
Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Bahadurgarh: BAHADURGARH, Fort, 9 km northeast of Patiala marks the site of the old Saifabad Fort, the residence of Nawab Saif ud-Din Mahmud or Saif Khan. He later renamed it Bahadurgarh after Guru Tegh Bahadur who had visited the place more than once. Maharaja Karam Singh also raised two gurdwaras, one outside the Fort and the other inside it, both honoring the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Kali Devi Temple: The temple was built by the late Maharaja Bhupinder Singh in 1936. The maharaja brought the six-foot idol of Kali Devi and the “pawan jyoti” (sacred flame) from the East Indian city of Calcutta. The temple is an architectural wonder from the great days gone by when the city was ruled by the great Patiala maharajas who were great promoters of art and culture.
Gurdwara Baoli Sahib, Bauran Kalan: Bauran kalan, commonly called Ramgarh Bauran, a Village 5 km southwest of Nabha, in Patiala district, is known for Gurdwara Baoli Sahib, situated on the boundary of Ramgarh and Bauran, commemorating the visit of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Gurdwara Dera Baba Ajaipal Ji: Baba Ajaipal was a drum-beater of Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He stayed here for 39 Years Preaching Sikhism among the people of this area. The Ranjit Nagara (Drum) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji has been preserved in this Gurdwara. This Gurdwara which is in the memory of Baba Ajaipal Ji is also known as Gurdwara Ghorianwala because it is believed that by offering horses at this place, the wishes of devotees are fulfilled.
Gurdwara Siropao Sahib - Nabha: At this place many Holy relics of Guru Sahibs have been preserved which are : The Hukamnama (Religious order) issued by Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1706 to two brothers Ram Singh (ancestor of Patiala rulers) and Tilok Singh (ancestor of Nabha and Jind State's rulers). A Turban and a Comb which has some hair stuck in it, 3.5 inch long Kirpan (a small sword) and a Hukamnama. Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave these items to Pir Buddhu Shah at Paonta Sahib after the battle of Bhangani. Raja Bharpur Singh of Nabha brought these items to Nabha from the descendants of Pir Buddhu Shah.
Gurdwara Akalgarh Sahib - Nabha: This Gurdwara is in the memory of all those Sikhs who won martyrdom during 'Jaiton Morcha' (Agitation). When 'Jaiton Morcha' was launched in 1923, town Jaiton was a part of Nabha State and almost all the Campaigns were started from the place where now Gurdwara Akalgarh is situated.
Gurudwara dukh niwaran: This gurudwara is the holy shrine of sikkism and is situated at sirhind road patiala which is in close proximity of patiala bus stand and patiala railway station. This place was graced by ninth sikh guru, shri guru sri tegh bahadur ji. On Basant panchmi, large gathering of people visit this place to pay obeisance and take a dip in holy water. It is believed that the person who takes a dip in the holy tank on panchmi is relieved of all ailments.
