How to reach NYC from India

• NYC Skyline

New York City is worldly known for its wide spectacular scenic beauty and this view could be best taken from 1050 feet above the ground level, and that is from the 86^th floor of the Empire State Building. This building is the second tallest design in NYC and provides a complete panoramic view of the city.

• Times Square

It is the most crowded street in New York City providing you with anything and everything, from large digital billboards to small little jewellery shops at the street corner. This is like street shopping arena for the tourists.

• Park Arenas

NYC has three major parks, Central Park, Prospect Park and Flushing Meadows Corona Park. These provide the tourist a place to relax and have a look to the general Yorkshires. With children playing, statues affixed, scenic beauty and various events going on, these parks provide a sense of freedom and joy to the tourists.

• NYC Museums

NYC is commonly known for its art, culture and historical significance. It has a large number of museums, theatres, and other cultural attractions. Statue of Liberty is the recognisable landmark on the lands of NYC. It is a mascot for the NYC which signifies a bright and secure life to all the immigrants in America. This is located on an island called Iilis Island, which is also a very beautiful piece of land having museums and other attractive places.

• Staten Island Ferry

This is a ferry facility which is accessible to the general public, free of cost for 25 minutes. This is a water transport that connects the lower Manhattan to Staten Island, covering other spots like Stature of liberty, Botanical Garden etc.

• Brooklyn Bridge

This bridge is the most common tourist spot as it actually defines the NYC attractions. Connecting Manhattan to Brooklyn, this bridge is a real masterpiece. Being the world’s longest suspension bridge, this is used by people for a general stroll in the evening. Though, used for daily commute it is truly one of the best tourist spot.
                             

•  9/11 Memorial and Museum

The tragedy moment of 9/11 is captured in this beautiful and peaceful museum. Dedicated to the 9/11 loss, this museum is a place of quiet contemplation. With a plaza and a museum beneath, this place provides all the details and pictures and artefacts related to the 9/11 attacks. It is like a memorial unit, very close to the hearts of Americans who lost their dear ones. This museum has the names of all the lost citizens engraved on a bronze pallet and thus, provides a sense of patriotism for the citizens.
 

• Bronx Zoo

Spread across 256 acres of land, this zoo is a home to a large wildlife. Consisting of more than 5000 animals and 600 species, this zoo has animals like gorillas, rabbits, baboons, zebras, giraffes etc. There is this Night Safari available which is surely an adventurous ride to this forest cum zoo.
 

• Art and Cultural Attractions

NYC is known for its interests in various art and culture programs like ballets, theatres, musical events etc. There are a large number of these theatres etc which regularly hosts these types of show. Some of the most famous ones being: American Ballet Theatre, New York Hall of Science, Lincoln Centre, Brooklyn Centre of the Performing Arts etc.

Suggested itineraries

There are commonly two types of itineraries for NYC. The first one offers a one day trip to NYC and the second one offers a three day trip to the same. Let us here discuss the second one.

Day One

On the first day, plan to see the Skyline first from the top of the Empire Building, followed by a walk through the Times Square getting into the colours of the NYC’s modern world. This will take you a complete day to roam about this street which has a hell lot of things to enjoy with.

Day Two

Dedicate your second day to the history and the culture of America. Any trip to America is incomplete without museums. So, a stroll on the Fifth Avenue is from where you will start your day two, covering all the famous museums discussed above. Followed by some wild activities like going to the Bronx Zoo etc.

Day Three

This being your last day, move somewhat away from the inside of the NYC and stroll towards the outskirts, covering Manhattan and Brooklyn. First, have a nice time at the downtown Manhattan followed by Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge and finally end your day by visiting the Staten Island on the Staten Island Ferry which will give you an opportunity to enjoy the cool watery trip to Statue of Liberty.
