Shimoga is an advanced and neoteric megalopolis that prides over its glorious historical heritage and its incandescent cultural lineage.  Kannada is the official langugae of Shimoga, Hindi and English are also understood by local peoples. Tamil and Urdu are language that are spoken by the people.
