Nalagarh Fort, Nalagarh :

Nalagarh Fort is considered to be one of the major tourist attractions in Nalagarh. It is assumed that Nalagarh Fort is the first one out of the three forts built by the kings of Jaipur. Nalagarh Fort has placed itself on a hillock at the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. From this fort, impressive views of the Shivalik Hills located across the Sirsa river can be viewed and relished. The fort is built on five levels and rises above a 20-acre estate of forest contain orchard. It has a series of structures built mostly in the Mughal style of architecture.


Ramgarh Fort, Nalagarh :

Yadavindra Gardens, with seven downward terraced lawns, placed at the foothills of the mount Shivalik, is a charming garden made in Mughal style located in Nalagarh. Nawab Fadai Khan designed this mind blowing garden in 17th century. It is in the classical pattern of 'Charbagh' with a middle waterway, both sides bounded with thriving green patches. The garden has domed balconies; three palaces namely water palace (Jal Mahal), Glass Palace (Sheesh Mahal) and Painted Palace (Rang Mahal) and also has an open-air theater. The garden has shaded cool pathways, a small Japanese garden, a mini zoo suitable for children, lighted fountains that are very charming and a nursery of plants. The garden is a site for Baisakhi festival comes during April and the famous Mango Festival during June and July months. This is a nice beautiful place to see and relax.

 

Fishing, Nalagarh :

he adventurous people can enjoy the fishing at the Gobind Sagar Lake. Production of high quality fish fauna is the main feature of this Gobind Sagar Lake. Fish fauna in Gobind Sagar mainly includes Carp and catfish. Many other fish varieties are also seen here. Tourists are allowed to do fun fishing, in a restricted way.
