Camel's Back Road
The name of this road is derived from its rocks placement and its shape like camel’s hump and is popular trekking spot also offering horse-rides. Camel's Back Road is a stretch of 3 km long natural display of rocks. Offering a beautiful view of sunset, sunrise and snow capped mountains, the road is ideally used by locals for carrying out morning and evening walks. Surrounded by mountains and lush green surroundings, the road is known for its natural beauty. Tourists can also visit this place by trekking through various mountain peaks.
Lal Tibba
Lal Tibba is the highest peak's topmost point and most famous place in Mussoorie. It is the highest point in Mussoorie is situated in Landour area, which is the oldest populated place in the destination. The site was also referred to as a Depot Hill, due to the presence of depot in the region. The beautiful views of sunrise and sunset from this vantage point can also be seen by travellers visiting Lal Tibba. Tourists can have beautiful views of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Banderpunch and other Himalyan ranges from this telescope.
Company Garden
Located at 3 km from The Mall, Company Garden is a well maintained picnic spot with a mini lake, a flower garden and an amusement park in it. Also known as Municipal Garden, it is one of the best spots for picnic.
Cloud's End
Cloud’s End is situated at a distance of around 6 km from the west of the Library marks the end of Mussoorie. It is covered by thick jungles and tracks 2 km up to the Benog Wildlife Sanctuary. It offers a lovely walking track. This place offers a great view of Aglar River Valley. Couples visiting this place can witness beautiful views and pleasant atmosphere and can witness variety of species of flora and fauna, while following the path to reach the attraction.
Nag Tibba Trek
Nag Tibba is situated near Mussooriea which is relatively unknown and a very exhilarating trekking trail. Known as one of the best weekend treks, the place offers a climb of about 10,000 ft amid the snow clad mountains. This is the highest peak of the Nagtibba range with an altitude of 9915m and is said to serve as a home to Nag Devta. The trail of the expedition is also highly fascinating and spectacular, being adorned with rich variety of flora and fauna, a rustic Gharwali lifestyle and oak and deodar forest housing exotic birds and wildlife. The highlight of the trip is the stunning view of Bandarpoonch Peak, Kedarnath Peak, Gangotri Peak and Doon Valley from the Nag Tibba.
Kempty Falls
Kempty Falls is a beautiful location to take a dip in the water falling from an altitude of 40 feet located on the way between Dehradun-Mussoorie roads. It is a perfect place to take a short swim or fish. Kempty Falls, one of the most renowned waterfalls in Uttarakhand, offers a mesmerizing panoramic view as the water falls from a great height.
Gun Hill
A lovely and second highest peak of Mussoorie, Gun Hill is favorite place for viewing picturesque Himalayan range and Doon Valley. Municipal Garden
Municipal Garden, also known as Company Bagh which is situated in the Happy Valley area of this beautiful town and located at around 3.0 km from the Library point. Creating a replica of colonial gardens, the place has a lush green carpet of lawns and a fountain, which is located in its centre. Couples can enjoy boating in the artificial lake, recently constructed within the garden. The garden houses a large variety of flora and birds, making it popular among nature lovers.
Jharipani Falls
This romantic place is located 6.0 km downhill of Mussoorie Jharipani Falls is situated near the village of Jharipani, which is at a distance of around 7 km from the destination. This fall is one of the beautiful places, ideal for picnic, nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The site offers a beautiful view of Shivalik range from Jharipani village to the tourists. Kempty falls:
Kempty Falls is popular among the tourists who visit Mussoorie and this cascading waterfall has successfully lured tourists from the very beginning. Kempty Falls is located 15kms from Mussoorie on the Chakrata road surrounded by high green mountains and is set at an altitude of 4500ft. The fall offers astonishing view of scattered drops of water falling from the height of 40ft and the waterfall splits into five streams .
Bhadraj Temple:
It is situated at a distance of 15kms from Mussoorie and is an ideal place for trekking. Bhadraj Temple is located on the extreme western region of Mussoorie and thus offers a splendid view of the Doon Valley, Chakrata ranges and the Jaunsar Bawar area of Garhwal Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bal Bhadra, brother of Lord Krishna, and is situated atop a hill. Bhadraj temple organizes a fair in the third week of August (Shravan Sankranti) every year.

The meaning of Haridwar in hindi language means Dwar of Hari or Gateway to God where 'Hari' means god and 'dwar' means gate. Haridwar is visited by lakhs of devotees every month to take a sacred dip in the holy water of Ganga River.
Shopping in Mussoorie :
The main shopping areas in Mussoorie are the Library, Kulri Bazaar and Landour Bazaar that sell curios, ethnic jewellery, as well as antiques. Beyond Kulri Bazaar a road goes 5 kms up to the old cantonment area of Landour. Shops in the market sell Raj memorabilia, silver jewellery and books. You can pick up beautifully handcrafted walking sticks among other things from shops on the Mall. Just below the mall Road is a Tibetan market where one can buy sleeping bags, windcheaters, sweaters and shawls at very reasonable prices.
