Package Itinerary

Day 1: We fetch our customers from Tiruvananthapuram Airport/ Railway Station located at a distanc16 and 13 kms away from Kovalam, respectively, by standard car/ taxi.  Our customers are provided necessary assistance to check into the hotel.

On the first day we leave you to enjoy on the beach and indulge in all the beach activities.

Light House Beach: This beach is considered the star beach of Kovalam and is the major attraction for the domestic and foreign tourists alike. This beach is more developed than the other beaches in Kovalam and is also the largest. Named after the Light House that lies on the hillock called Kurumkal on the southern part of the beach, the beach is perfect for various types of water sports like surfing, gliding, water skiing, paragliding etc. The Light House which is an attraction itself has a total of 142 steps and provides a sweeping view of the surroundings. One can see the Beemapalli mosque and Poovar on two sides of the Light House. A swim in this beach is also a good idea, as the temperature of the water is moderate.

Hawa Beach: While it is true that Light House Beach is high on action, Hawa Beach which lies opposite to the Light House Beach has matchless beauty bestowed on it by Palm trees that line the beach and create a heavenly view against the clear blue sky, turquoise water and stretch of white sand. This beach is separated from the mainland and other beaches by Edakkalu and is perfect for beach walks and watching the sunset. This beach is also great to be after the sunset when the calm waves of the sea gleam in the moonlight. Hawa Beach is perfect if you are looking for a romantic escape from the hustle and bustle of the area.

Samudra Beach: An isolated beach which is calm and serene and is abundant with natural beauty. Come here to enjoy a romantic walk on the beach and spend some perfect time here.

Varkala Beach: This is an amazing beach which offers both natural beauty and allows the visitors to enjoy water sports and shop on the sea beach. The water of this beach is believed to be holy and wash away the sins of whoever bathes here and is also known as Pappanasham.

Janardhana Swami Temple, Janardhana Swami Temple, Sarkara Devi Temple, Vidya Devi Temple are also located here. As these are close and require no transportation, customers can visit these temples upon their will.  

Shopping at Kovalam- While in Kovalam, the exotic beach town of India, you cannot do without picking up some really unusual and colourful stuff. Shopping in Kovalam is an exciting affair. You get to shop in the numerous shops or huts on the sea beach selling handicrafts, jewelry, sea-shells, beachwear, and a variety of lungis or sarongs. You will find plenty of shops which sell teakwood or rosewood statues and these are quite famous among the tourists because of their intricate carving. Exotic items from various parts of India are much in demand by foreigners. Some interesting buys include the   Tibetan knick- knacks, silver ornaments, ethic jewelry, Kashmiri shawls, handloom saris, spices from Malabar, Kerala artifacts, curios and antiques. Varkala Beach is famous for shops selling beachwear and jewelry made of sea shells and Little Tibet Arts is also one of the must visits to lay your hand on some and hidden gems  

Apart from the sea beaches there are some other shops that sell some goods of standard quality. You can visit SM Handloom Center to buy some finely woven high quality silk, cotton and linen saris and garments. Visit Joseph & Sons Shop for spices like cardamom, saffron, coriander, vanilla pods, black pepper, cinnamon, fenugreek, nutmeg and mace, star anise, tamarind, aniseed, asafetida, palm jaggery and more.

Kovalam is famous for Kathakali performance arranged for the tourists and is one of the attractions of the night life. Most people enjoy trying one of the several restaurants and drinks at night.

Day 2: Start at 9.00 am from the hotel after complimentary breakfast at the hotel.

Padmanabhapuram Palace: Located in the Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, Padmanabhapuram Palace is just 51 Kms away and takes 1hr 12 minutes by bus or car to reach. It was the family residence of the royal family of Travancore. It is considered as one of the best example of secular architecture in the region. One can witness the architecture of Kerala in its full splendor with inclined tiled roofs, pillared halls, polished floors and balconies expanding from one corner to another. The king’s chamber has a bed which is made of 64 types of wood which are medicated. 

Koyikkal Palace- It is located in Nedumangadu, Thiruvananthapuram District in Kerala 29.2 km which takes approximately 54 minutes to reach this place. It is presently under the Archaeological Department of Kerala. In this place is kept the 'Chandravalam' which is a small instrument used by the percussionists in Ramakathappattu and 'Nanthuni'. The musical instrument is small in size and is made of wood and string and is generally used in Onappattu etc.

Kaudiar Palace: It is also located in Thiruvananthapuram and is 16kms away. The palace is famous for its rich interiors and has 150 rooms.

Anchuthengu Fort: This fort was established in 1695 and was the first independent settlement of the British in the coast of Malabar.

We then take our customers to the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Horse Palace-A temple of Lord Ganesha with painting of all 32 forms of the deity, Aautukal Bhagwati Temple, Chowara Temples.

Day 3

We take you to on a full day Backwater Cruise. Customers can have breakfast and get ready by   8 am and the cruise will last till 5.30 pm in the evening. This brings in a unique chance to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Backwaters of Kerala, the flora and fauna thriving in the region and the village life. The cruise is conducted in an open canoe. This brings in a great opportunity to experience the lush green villages and their pristine beauty.

We take our guests to Veli Tourist Village which lies at the meeting point of Veli river with Arabian Sea. It is plentiful with fish ponds, paddling pools, manmade gardens and facility for water sports.

Vellayani Lake is another stop which is the largest fresh water lake in the district of Thiruvananthapuram. The water of this lake is crystal clear and a road passes through this lake. The beauty of this lake is unparalleled and one has to see it to believe in its beauty. 

After the cruise we take our guests to hotel. For rest of the evening we leave you to enjoy the beach life. Guests can also enjoy Ayurvedic massage available at the Hotels as well as neighbouring spas to refresh their tired nerves.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.

Our guests can enjoy water sports, swimming and shopping at the beach till the checkout time.

Travel to Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station/Airport
