It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometers and is fed by River Musi.  On the banks of the Hussain Sagar a water front or bund was constructed to control the flow of water on the other side. The Tank Bund, as it is called is a favourite promenade for the city

Golconda Fort:  Golkonda, also known as Golconda or Golla konda s a citadel and fort in Southern India and was the capital of the medieval sultanate of the Qutb Shahi dynasty  The Golconda fort is a fine example of magnificent architecture. The fort was renowned for its diamond trade and it is said that the world famous "Kohinoor" diamond was found here.  the Golconda Fort was reinforced by walls, bastions and battlements.  Falaknuma Palace:  Falaknuma is a palace in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It belonged to Paigah Hyderabad State, and it was later owned by the Nizam of Hyderabad One of the highlights of the palace is the state reception room, where the ceiling is decorated with frescoes and gilded reliefs. The ballroom contains a two-ton manually operated organ said to be the only one of its kind in the world.

 Birla Mandir:  Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet The construction took 10 years and was opened in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The Birla Mandir in Hyderabad, dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara is constructed out of two thousand tonnes of white Rajasthani marble the temple is located near the Hussain Sagar Lake and you can even enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake and the city from the top of the hill.

 

 Salarjung Museum: The Salar Jung Museum is an art museum located at Darushifa, on the southern bank of the Musi river in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is one of the three National Museums of India Salarjung Museum is known for its massive collection of more than 47,000 books, 43000 paintings and around 9000 holographs. If that isn’t enough to arouse your interest, the museum collection includes Middle East art, European art and Far Eastern Art apart from Indian Art

NTR Gardens: NTR Gardens is a small public, urban park of 36 acres djacent to Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad, India. NTR Gardens is a memorial to late N. T. Rama Rao, who was a former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
