Day 01 / Arrival Delhi

Arrive Delhi, meet assist at the airport & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi. 

 

Day 02 / Delhi Site Seeing

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi : 

OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi includes Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.
 
NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

Day 03 / Delhi - Jaipur ( By Train) & Site Seeing

Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast airconditioned train to Jaipur. Breakfast in the train. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Later sight seeing tour of Jaipur covering: 

AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace.Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. 

CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. 

JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. 

HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 04 Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Morning drive to Agra via Fatehpur sikri , a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. 

Night stay in Agra. 


Day 05  Agra Site Seeing - With Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

Morning sunrise, visit the magnificient Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world & a monument of love built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife.Also visit the massive Agra Fort, which stands on the banks of the river Yamuna built by Emperor Akbar in 1566. 

Explore the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience),a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. 

Explore the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. 

Evening free to explore the rich handicrafts of Agra. Night stay in Agra. 


Day 6: Agra - Jhansi – Orchha

Start from Agra in early morning and arrive in Jhansi, drive to Orchha.Freshen up and go for local sightseeing of Orchha, the main attraction of Orchha is the Orchha fort complex located on an island on River Betwaand. Other places to visit Raja Ram Temple (which was formerly a palace); Laxminarayan Temple, Phool Bagh etc. 

Proceed to Khajuraho in the evening, Stay overnight at the hotel in Khajuraho.


Day 7 :- Khajuraho temple site seeings.

Visit Western Group of temples

Largest group of temples in Khajraho, the Western Group has some of more famous monuments. Standout among these is the Kandariya Mahadeve Temple, the biggest and highest temple in the complex. Other famous temples are Chitragupta, Jagadambi, Chaunsath Yogini, Varah and Laxman. Matangeshwar Temple among these is the only temple in active worship, although it is located outside the boundary.

Visit Eastern group of Temples

After examining the six temples in the Western complex, proceed to Eastern complex to see another Hindu & Jain temple.

Day 8 - Khajuraho Honeymoon Excursions

Explore Panna national park, Pandava falls and caves. The Pandava falls are about 30 kms from Khajuraho in Panna National Park.The falls are located half a kilometer from the gate entry. Vehicle entry is Rs. 200. However, if you are on foot, then its only Rs.15 per person.

You need to climb down to 100 steps which lead to the fall and the pool.Enjoy the tranquility of the place and sound of the falls. It is a great place to visit

Also visir the Raneh Falls which is around 11 kms from the Western Group. You can hire an auto or a car.

Return to hotel by the evening..

Day 09 : Proceed to Bandhavgarh

Breakfast at the hotel and Proceed to Bandhavgarh national park. It is located on South-East of Khajuraho at a distance of 250kms/05:30hrs.

Day 10 : Bandhavgarh Jungle Safari & Resort

In this day we will do both morning & evening tiger safaris. Bandhavgarh is popular tiger reserve for tiger sighting in wilderness. Here possibility to see tigers is high due to better tiger density. Still one can not rule-out the fact that tiger sighting is a matter of luck. In addition to tiger, one can see Wild Boar, Leopard, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Jackal, Sloth Bear during safari. Their is small fort at hill top inside forest area as it was one time capital of Baghel dynasty. During safari in Tala zone, you can find marks of human presence in past like caves, statues, temples, treasury, ponds, well etc. 

Overnight at resort in Bandhavgarh.


Day 11 :- Return to Khajuraho to catch your backward journey to Delhi

Day 12:  Kanha national Park Tour (250 kms / 6 hrs)

Have breakfast on day 5 and begin driving to Kanha National Park that inspired famous novelist Rudyard Kipling to pen down his well-known novel ‘the Jungle Book’. After reaching Kanha, check-in at your jungle resort. In the evening, embark on a jungle safari.The park is known for housing a good population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Indian wild dog and Barasingha, also famous as the Pride of Kanha along with around 300 avifauna species. Do not miss viewing sunset at the Bamni Dadar point. Overnight in Kanha.

 

Day 13:  Kanha- Jabalpur (165 kms/3 hrs)

Enjoy an early morning safari into the national park. Later, proceed to Jabalpur railway station to board a train to Delhi. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 14:  Delhi

Spend the last day of the tour at leisure- you can explore the capital city of India or can simply relax in the comfort of your room. Post farewell dinner, get transferred to the airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
