Mawsmai Cave: The cave has a spacious opening but it soon squeezed into a small neck. The cave is a one way road- enters from one and goes out the other. In the middle, there are places where you've to bend and squeeze yourself out. As beautiful and adventurous as it was it can be a bit suffocating. There is a small entry free (I think Rupees 20) to visit the caves. As I was saying thank you to the person at the counter he said to me, duck your head and enjoy.
Dainthlen Falls: Dainthlen Falls is located nearly 5 km from the city The rock carvings seen here of the snake are said to represent the symbols of evil and greed. Being a soft waterfall, you may not hear the roaring sounds of water falling but still, the atmosphere is electric. The splendour of this falls is enhanced by the presence of large number of natural potholes, much bigger in size and dimension than the regular ones on the metallic roads
Thangkharang Park: Thangkharang Park is one of the main attractions of Cherrapunji. Lying next to the Khoh Ramhah rock, this park offers a nice view of Bangladesh. The sight of meandering roads looks amazing. You can also treat your eyes to the lovely views of the Kynrem falls that gush down in 3 levels. the Kynrem Falls. Yet another view that captivates your attention is the Khoh Ramhah rock. The rock is of single formation and it looks like an overturned basket of giant size and hence called Giant Basket. The play area here keeps the kids entertained.
